Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
In 1966, the West Virginia town of Point Pleasant had multiple witnesses and encounters with this creature that had wings and red eyes. This was the beginning of Mothman, which became a local urban legend. Its appearances ultimately foreshadowed the collapse of the Silver Bridge in the Ohio River in 1967. In this episode, we discuss some of the encounter stories and theorize what Mothman could possible be.

The La Pascualita Mannequin and The Expressionless Creepypasta
Tuesday Aug 25, 2020
Tuesday Aug 25, 2020
A little unique opening to this Believing the Bizarre episode! Tyler wanted to make the creepypasta, The Expressionless, into an episode but wasn't able to find an angle to make it work. Because, you know, it's fake.
So we read that story in full before diving into the unsettling story surrounding La Pascualita. This legend involves a bridal shop mannequin that may have actually been a real human. Some say the extremely life-like mannequin's eyes will follow you around the shop and she even moves places.
Find out our theories on whether or not this could be true as we look at other similar circumstances and discuss how the uncanny valley explains the creepiness of mannequins and dolls.

Tuesday Aug 04, 2020
*Disclaimer: due to a COVID-19 scare, this episode was recorded social distantly. The audio is a little subpar compared to what you’re used to, but the good news is, we are both fine.* But, you probably care more about the audio than our health. That’s hurtful. But anyway, what is this episode about?
Oh yes, so…what makes 50 Berkeley Square such a historically haunted and terrifying home? Well, if you can get through the London jokes and terrible British accents, you’ll find out!
This London home's second floor houses an unnamed tentacle monster that seems to be right from HP Lovecraft himself. We dive into the many folks that lived in this home over the years, discussing their tales and tragedies and let you know whether or not the hauntings of 50 Berkeley Square are believable.
